Dit onderzoek centreert zich rondom:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"trombo_ul\">\n<li>het vaststellen of uitsluiten van een ziektebeeld<\/li>\n<li>het volgen van het verloop van een ziekte en het effect van een behandeling<\/li>\n<li>het voork\u00f3men van bepaalde ziekten<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Het gaat hier om, onder meer, klinisch-chemische, immunologische en hematologische onderzoeken die vooral door huisartsen en specialisten worden aangevraagd.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"trombo_ul\">\n<li>De afdeling KCH is uitgerust met apparatuur en systemen volgens de modernste technologie<\/li>\n<li>Het solide KCH-team wordt gevormd door klinisch-chemici en hoog opgeleide analisten<\/li>\n<li>De Medische laboratoria zijn sinds juni 2016, NEN-EN-ISO 15189 geaccrediteerd door het RvA onder de activiteit \u2018TESTEN\u2019 met registratienummer M297. De afdeling KCH kan m\u00e9\u00e9r dan 100 componenten in verschillende lichaamsvloeistoffen meten. De Hematologie kent meerdere deelgebieden. Het meten van de concentratie van rode en witte bloedcellen en van bloedplaatjes en de analyse van een aantal celkenmerken wordt gedaan voor de diagnose van bloedziekten zoals leukemie en verschillende vormen van bloedarmoede. Deze monitoring gebeurt met een stollingstest, de PT\/INR-test.
